The Making of an Adult

So in my experience when you begin to make your own life choices and are willing to be held accountable for those life choices you are in fact being an adult. No one ever said that everyone had to agree with your choices nor did they say you would ever, let alone always make the right ones. For it is in the act of making them and following them threw that defines you as an adult. It will always be scary and you will always want support but you have to take the steps to make those choices. I say this as I stand here about to make a big choice that not all or even a few might agree with, but this is what I want and I ready to follow it through. May I never forget that I will not carry this choice alone but with my partner and with god to remind me I can make it through.
