Give away confusion
Ok I am still new to mommy blogging, and learning all the little technics to networking. It might be the pregnancy fog hitting but these giveaways seem so confusing!!! There are so many rules to everything. I am only in my fourth month of my pregnancy but I am still in heavy debate over cloth vs. disposable diapers. I cannot decide, I dont want to invest an arm and a leg into cloth to find that it later does not work out with my working full time and hubby being the stay at home daddy. He says he is up for using both but that is all in theory and coming from a man that admits at time he still does not feel like I am pregnant. There is plenty of time to decide however I want to know before my baby shower so I am not stuck with a truck load of diapers I dont want to use or cant. What to do? Pregnancy fog go away and I need to set up my wireless internet so I can do more research at home at night from my couch instead of my broken computer chair. I sit at desk all day so doing it at night is just not appealing these days. Then again doing anything but sitting on my couch after work is not appealing these days. hmm what to do? All you blogging mommies can you give me advise on how to keep up on the blogging maddness as well as advise on working and cloth diapering. I worry about daddy really being able to make it if I am gonna spend close to 300.00 on diapers.

I don't think I know anybody who has done cloth diapers recently. I think it would be a lot of work and it's already overwhelming becoming a new parent. I know it's environmentally friendly, but to me, it just seems like a huge effort. If you research it a lot and really know what you're doing, great! But newborns can go through as many as 12-15 diapers a day and that is a LOT of laundry.
the amount of diapers for newborns is a concern. With newborns since they grow so fast you are mostly washing the insert unless they have a blow out which you can try to avoid. It does put press on daddy (who gets to be home) to change more often. the inserts are like burb clothes so considering the amount of laundry they have normally I am hoping it is not that bad. But I have yet to complete my research, lol. I was surprised how popular it has become not just for the environment but for my pocket book which is my number one motivation. So I think from now until baby is here I am going to have to order one or two here and there to see what this deal is so I know what I am getting myself into.
